A Finnish furniture giant IKEP is planning to make the world a little more comfortable.
The brand’s new outdoor seating design will feature “a high-tech, air-conditioned, self-sealing material.”
The seating will be able to stay in place without the need for an air conditioner, and the furniture will also be able be used without a seatbelt.
The seating for the new seating will include “small seats” that are adjustable to fit the seating capacity.
The new seating design has already been unveiled in Europe and the United States.
It is expected to debut in 2017 in both the U.S. and in Finland.
In addition to the new seats, IKEV’s new seating features will include new ergonomic cushions, more energy-efficient LED lighting, and “a smart, motion-detection system that detects the user’s movement and adjusts the cushions accordingly.”
